Shawn Lewis, Of Counsel

Shawn recently joined Beaverson Law Group, PC as Of Counsel, primarily representing
privately owned businesses in Indiana and Michigan. Shawn’s practice includes Mergers,
Acquisitions & Divestitures; Corporate and Business Planning, including exit
strategies and succession planning; Business Transactions, including negotiating
and drafting contracts with vendors, suppliers, customers and employees; Labor
and Employment Relations; Commercial and Residential Real Estate Matters and
Estate Planning.

Shawn has over 27 years of legal experience, both in private practice and in-house as General
Counsel working closely with Management, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain & Purchasing,
Sales, Information Technology and Research & Development.

Shawn received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the Krannert School of
Management at Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana in 1989. He earned his Juris
Doctorate, Order of the Curia, from Capital University, Columbus, Ohio in 1992. Shawn is
licensed to practice law in Indiana and Michigan.

Shawn is a member of the Indiana and Michigan State Bar Associations. He currently serves as a
Board Member of Bashor Children’s Home in Goshen, Indiana. Shawn is a former Chairman and
Board Member of Child and Parent Services in Elkhart, Indiana, and also served as a Board
Member of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Elkhart County, Indiana.
Shawn is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, but has been in Northern Indiana since 1992. Shawn
resides in Granger with his wife Jennifer.
